Rotel Reset Procedures

900 Series

RCC-945	Remove the top cover of the unit. On the front panel PCB, locate the two brass pins sticking out of the PCB, and with the unit powered on, short these pins together with a screwdriver or similar conductor for a few seconds.
RDV-985	With the unit unplugged, press and hold the PLAY and OPEN/CLOSE buttons simultaneously, then reconnect the power cord and release the two buttons. The front display should read 'TEST 5U0', and then quickly change to 'TEST 5U1'. Press and release the VSS button. '96kHz Sampling' should appear in the display. Power down the unit using the STANDBY button to complete the reset.
RDV-995	With the unit unplugged, press and hold the PLAY and OPEN/CLOSE buttons simultaneously, then reconnect the power cord and release the two buttons. The front panel should read 'TEST'. Press and release the VSS button on the remote control. 'V. REPLACE' should appear in the display. Power down the unit using the STANDBY button to complete the reset.
RSP-976	Select the RESET option from the OTHER OPTIONS Menu of the On Screen Display.
RSP-985	Select the FACTORY DEFAULTS option from the SYSTEM SETUP Menu of the On Screen Display.
RSX-965	Power off the unit. Press and hold the MEMORY, 0, and 9 front panel buttons simultaneously, and power the unit on. When properly reset, the unit should power on to the Tuner input at FM frequency 87.5.
RSX-972	Select the RESET option from the Main Menu of the On Screen Display.
RT-961	(North American tuning frequencies) - Power off the unit. With the unit powered off, press and hold the MEMORY and 9 buttons on the front panel simultaneously. While holding these buttons, power the unit on from the front panel button.
RTC-965	Power off the unit. Press and hold the MEMORY, 0, and 9 front panel buttons simultaneously, and power the unit on. When properly reset, the unit should power on to the Tuner input at FM frequency 87.5.
RX-975	Power off the unit. Press and hold the 3, 5, and VIDEO 1 front panel buttons simultaneously, and power the unit on. When properly reset, the unit should power on to the Tuner input at FM frequency 87.5.
